- 23 and on the move... to Yemen! After years of talking about it I have finally decided to make a bold and audacious move, I'm moving to the Middle East! Although quite ill-prepared I know this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and simply could not be missed. So for one year I will attempt to immerse myself in an entirely foreign culture and way of life. I hope to learn the language and gain invaluable insight and experience into Muslim culture. ReplyDeleteAmazing blog! I just stumbled upon this and love it. I visited Sana'a for a few days last year and loved the place. The people were so great. We stayed at the Burj Al Salam and explored the town. Took a whole load of shots, I need to get them all online soon - but my favorite is "Trust In Yemen" have a look at my photoblog www dxbluey dot com.
ReplyDeleteOne request - do you have a good receipe for lamb salta? Amazing dish! The place called Al Fahker (I think) on Hadda Road was brilliant.
